Students involve themselves in a three step process that results in leaving class with one or more finished rhyming poems. Step one is a rhyming exercise utilizing suffixes. This kick starts the brain into a rhyming mode. Second step involves listening to poems and anticipating/identifying the rhyme at the ends of sentences. Finally, with the students mind alive with rhyme, "poem starters" are given and the student build a poem from there.
Students will receive and keep two signed copies of the instructor's poetry books. The books are utilized in class. Cost of class includes the cost books. Course is designed for any age level with a zeal to learn!
